Michael Salerno '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 3 sport varsity athlete.  I also start on the varsity soccer team and play Lacrosse.  I have a 4.57 GPA.  My junior year I was the Jr. class Vice President and I am the Class President for my senior class.  My Senior year I am taking 5 AP classes.  I play WR, DB and Kicker.  I was a finalist for the field goal competition and placed in the top 20 at the Chris Sailer Vegas Camp (January 2016).  I am a leader at my school and a hard worker on and off the field.  In addition to playing football, soccer and lacrosse, I have also been on the swim and track teams.  On the JV swim team I placed 7th in the Mission League Finals in the Breaststroke.  On the track team, I place 3rd in the 300 hurdles in the frosh/soph Mission League finals and was on the 2nd place 4x400 relay team. 

In 2016, I received the Most Inspirational Award for the varsity Soccer team.  I am 3 year varsity starter for the soccer team. 

Outside of school and sports, in 2015 7 friends and I started our own non profit organization that services the Santa Clarita Valley.  The name of the organization in Youth Organization - Santa Clarita Valley or YO-SCV.

I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.  As a three-sport athlete I know that I have what it takes to be a leader on your team!
