I think what sets me apart from other athletes is my willingness to be a team player and my work ethic. I keep good grades, I have a part time job, and I still keep in shape at the gym and continue training in my off seasons. I work hard at every practice, no matter the conditions; and if I am having a rough day, that does not stop me. I exceed expectations, and I make sure my team knows I will always be there for them. Not only do I work hard, but I have been blessed with an awesome family that also supports me and helps me to reach my goals. My sister goes to a 4 year university, and she has really inspired me to reach my goals, and attend college, play my sport, and get a good education. My mom also inspires me; at one point she worked 3 jobs, was raising the 3 of us, and was going back to nursing school. I want to give back to her someday, and that's why she is so proud of me for being the athlete that I am.
