Personal Statement
I love the game of football and would endure all to compete. The feeling of walking out of the locker room in full gear, getting pumped up, motivating others to increase their intensity along with me, it’s a total rush. I could do this the rest of my life if my body could hold out against age.
I come from a very structured family upbringing. My father is a police detective and me and my siblings have been brought up with a strict code to follow. My integrity is everything. I’ve been brought up by my parents believing that “Hard Work Pays Off”. Making good choices that follow me throughout, is what needs to be focused on in my daily life. I am who I am based on great examples of my family and heroes I’ve come to admire.
My academic goals are to continue to hold a 3.0 grade point average and strive to increase my GPA above that level. Education is important to me. I want to have a wide range of employment available to me and the only way for that to happen is to educate and grow. I am a very intelligent individual and I want to apply that successfully. I look forward to furthering my education through college. I want to go beyond the basics and delve deeper into the pool of knowledge. I’m looking forward be exposed to many facets of enlightenment.
I am an intelligent football player. I know what to look for before the play and during the play. I love to analyze football strategies and look for the appropriate time to apply those strategies. I’ve been told by many that I have great footwork. I love to apply my skills to compete in this wonderful sport and I love to share what I know with my teammates. I love being hoarse after a game, because I was yelling at the line what I see and what we need to do to accomplish our goal. I love congratulating a player on a great performance. I love seeing my family in the stands cheering and supporting me regardless of the outcome. I am a winner and I love to win. I am a leader and I love to lead. I am an intense player that won’t give up. Hard Work Pays Off.
