Personal Statement
I have always been taught to do my best in all that I do. Whether it be sports, grades, or even just cleaning the house, I strive to exceed expectations. I feel like this makes me a good candidate for any team. You have to have players who are willing to do extra work on and off the field and go beyond what is expected, and that is me. I grew up playing the gentleman's sport, rugby. We give it all on the field but after the game both teams come together and share a meal like one big happy family. I feel like I mesh very well in different groups of people making me cooperative in any environment.
I was also taught from a young age that academics is everything. Football and sports can only take you so far. My body may get old and weak but my knowledge never ages so that is why I put my schooling first. I strive to obtain a 3.5 GPA or more. I have always had interests in the world of medicine. My mom's side of the family are all doctors, nurses, pharmacists or something related in the medical field. I also have a younger brother with cerebral palsy/microcephaly. I watched him grow and struggle through many things. I would love to learn more about the different fields and eventually select one that I am passionate about.
