Personal Statement
My experience with football has taught me a lot about how I should carry myself as a young man. At the JV level I had played only 3 snaps the whole year, being known as a soft and not athletic player. It was this experience that has brought me to be such a hard worker on the field. In furthering my skill level in my 3 years of Varsity experience I had worked my way from a benchwarmer to a two way player, team Captain, All-star, and All league and City award winner. Through this tedious process I have learned how to push myself and strive to be the best player and person I can be, and in me desiring to further my football career through college I would like to make my own contributions to a great team and develop relationships with great people, as well as continuously pushing myself to be the best athlete I can be. I believe I could be a great candidate for any team because of the way I carry myself as a person through all experiences in life, as I try my best to approach every obstacle with an open mind and full effort. Another thing that makes me a great candidate is this ambition that I hold to be the best, I love to work and am willing to do whatever it takes to help myself or help anybody in group efforts. This is visible in my years of football as I have been recognized by many of my teammates and underclassman as a productive player, I have been lucky enough to train, teach, and learn from them, and have been able to make my own impact at the program that we have here at Eagle Rock. The primary thing that I think separates me from other recruits again is how coachable I am and my drive to be successful, and I think that with any opportunity earned whether it were at the JC or D1 level I would give it my 100% and I would not disappoint.
