Personal Statement
My name is Pierce Brown. I play wide receiver. I got into football by watching the game and my dad's positive influence. My dad said that I had a natural talent in running fast when I played soccer and toughness when I earned a black belt in karate. As a student-athlete, my goals in high school are to perform at a high level academically, play fast and physical on the football field and give back to my community through service. In college, I want to explore the creative arts and major in business and film/communications. I have gone through many obstacles as a student-athlete. I know that I have a “don’t quit” attitude. In football, when I was younger, I was far from being the biggest kid on the field. However, I was able to make up for that lack of size with my speed, agility, and skill. Now that the size advantage has dimensioned, I am even more confident in my ability to play in one of the most competitive high school football divisions in the country. Through year-round training in football and speed development, I have developed the ability to be what I believe is that spark and showcase a winning attitude on the field. I look forward to completing a great high school academic and football career and relentlessly pursue my educational goals and athletic dreams in college.
