I am an only child and was adopted at birth by my Mom and Dad. I have been playing football since I was 6 years old, which has given me a lot of experience given all of the touches I have had over the course of my playing time. About four years ago, I was in a nearly fatal accident and spent 10 days in the trauma center. While I was in the hospital, the only thing on my mind was getting back to full health and getting back on the field by the start of the season, which I accomplished. This experience impacted my life because it really opened my eyes to how hard I could actually work if I really wanted something, and it set the standard for my work ethic in everything I do.
On the field, I am a leader with my actions and my motor in every single drill. We have a concept in our high school football program called “INAM” which stands for “It’s Not About Me.” I feel like I have embodied this ideal and try to apply it to many aspects of my life.
I am very interested in playing at the next level of football and would be elated to attend any four-year university, in any geographical area, where I have the opportunity to play and contribute to the team while building relationships with my fellow teammates that will last a lifetime. I am currently considering a career in the Fire Service which prefers a two-year Fire Science degree; however, I am open to all opportunities at this time that would allow me to achieve my lifetime goal to play collegiate football while earning a four-year degree that will set me up for success later in life.
