Personal Statement
Growing up playing Football at a young age has given me the best chance at becoming a student athlete at the collegiate level. When starting football at the age of 8 years old, I knew that football would be a big part of my life. Being the biggest player on my youth football team I had to push through many physical and mental barriers to ultimately compete at the High School level. I have always had a special, passionate interest in football. The level of personal fulfillment that I receive after dedicating hours of hard work is unremarkable. Leading my team and earning the respect and trust of coaches are goals I have each time I step on the field.
Being a student athlete means that you have to hold yourself accountable both on the field and in the classroom. I strive to maintain a high standard in the classroom, keeping a high GPA. I'm currently a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation. During my free time I volunteer helping younger athletes at the local youth football program. I'm looking to find the right college match where I can achieve my educational goals and compete at the college level.
