Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are to receive a great college education while playing a sport that I love. On the field, I am a true leader. I encourage my teammates and guide them to make themselves better. As the cliche goes, there is no "I" in team. We get better as one unit. I am a very hard worker on and off the field. I put in a great amount of effort into everything I set my mind to, whether it is my education or playing football. My coaches have labeled me as a very coachable player. I take their knowledge of the game and facts of life into consideration and apply it to my own. Education is my priority before any sports. I take my school work serious and if I find myself in academic trouble, I'm the first to find resources or ask for assistance to make me better. Lastly, I take criticism as an opportunity for improvement. These attributes are what makes me a great candidate for your team and for your school.
