Personal Statement

My ability to work hard and put in the extra time to earn and be rewarded with excellent grades reflects my work ethic on and off the field year round. Athletically I am focused on two sports. Football playing Receiver, Safety and Special Teams.  Varsity Track, running the 200, 400, 4X100 and 4X400.  The Track Team won their 5th consecutive Monterey Bay League "MBL" title, and I was honored as the recipient of the 2015 MBL Sportsmanship Award representing Palma High School and 2016 Palma Track MVP.

As a student I am constantly looking to improve myself and studies by taking Honors and AP classes.  Honors World History and English my freshman year, my sophomore year I attended Honors Chemistry and English.  As a junior I am attending AP English, AP, US History, AP Biology, Honors Spanish, and Honors Calculus.  I have achieved and maintained First Honors for Palma High School Honor Roll both semesters of my freshman and sophomore years.

Through community service I spend my time working with the elderly at a local retirement home, tutor for the Center for Life, and attend the City of Salinas Youth Commission, and assist the coaches for the local youth football team the Salinas Colts,   I am also developing a luggage/bag drive for local foster children.

I am looking for the opportunity of playing football in college, through my academic studies, hard work, dedication, and being a coachable athlete.  Academic achievements are equally important if not more important to in what I am looking for in continuing my education in the field of science and eventually medicine.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
