Personal Statement
My name is Hunter Correll. I have started Varsity my Sophomore, Junior and senior years as Quarterback for Serra High School. Ever since I have started playing football, it has been my Dream to play at the College level. Everyday I work hard to make that a reality: athletically and academically. I am a Team Player; I love my team and will do everything in my power to help them succeed. During the season we have peer mentoring, homework study time and Bible Studies every Thursday night at my house where 40-50 guys would come first and foremost to learn about God and secondly to bond with one another like nothing I have ever seen before. I am very competitive. From spending all weekend to breakdown an upcoming opponent's defense to staying hours after practice to work on a specific play/pass, I WILL do what it takes to win. Most of all, I am coachable. I am not prideful in my ability; I always am looking for ways to get better and always accepting of critique. Being a Quarterback, I have learned so much on how to be a leader, when times are great to keep focused, and to inspire when things go wrong. I am extremely grateful for all the blessings that God has given me, and I strive to live this life to the fullest!
