Beau Sidwell '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Beau Sidwell.  I am a senior wide receiver/corner and kick returner for St. Ignatius College Prep in San Francisco. I believe my desire to excel academically and as a great football player will fit your standards. I am not sure how much you know about St. Ignatius College Prep as a school or football program here in San Francisco, but I know that our level of academic reputation and our competition in the West Coast Athletic League are considered to be best in our region of central California.  The focus on great academics and football at St. Ignatius has prepared me for the next level.  I am a good student with a 3.1 GPA and am preparing to take the standardized tests this Spring.  

As you will see from my Hudl highlight tape, I am a versatile player with good speed, quickness, footwork and a real eye for the ball.  I consider myself to be a tough player that is not afraid to stick my nose in there and hit someone.  I like to block as a receiver as you will notice in my highlights.   I most recently ran a 4.78 - 40 yard dash and am currently 5'9" 165 lbs.  I am a two sport athlete who loves to compete in all that I do, on and off the field.  Finally, my school, St. Ignatius College Prep has taught me to become a man for others, as I spend time in the community serving meals to the less fortunate at the Glide Church downtown.  It is a rewarding experience for me and has kept me grounded on what matters most in living your life.
