Personal Statement
My goal has always been to play football at a high level while getting a great education. I began my football career when I was six years old and I have played every year since. My love for the game started when I was very young playing with my father who taught me many of my football skills. From my multiple years of football experience I have learned persistence, commitment, and leadership qualities. My junior season did not go as planned, but I was able to make the most of it. After starting the season at quarterback I broke my right thumb, so I was forced to play outside linebacker. From this experience I became a much more versatile athlete, and I was able to help my team. I have always worked hard and focused on school before my athletics, and this year I have a 3.5 GPA. I look forward to continuing to grow and work hard on and off the football field.
