Abasi Etok '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abasi-Ikpongke Nsima Etok always called  "Abasi". I was born in Nigeria on February 27, 2000. I came to United States of America at age 2. I am at Sophomore at Oak Grove High School in San Jose, California. I will graduate in 2018.  I have played basketball and soccer and I am currently playing football for my high school as a Wide Receiver/ Defensive Back. My goal is to play football at the collegiate level. 
I believe I have what it takes to reach my goals which are to attend college and play football. I have a strong determination and good work ethics which make me a hard working Student Athlete. 
My major in college will be Medicine and Health Science and that requires hard work and concentration which are qualities I demonstrate in the classroom and on the field. I am sure that i can keep these qualities at the collegiate level. I am positive that any college that accepts me will benefit from me because of my aspirations in academics and sports.

I am optimistic that I will contribute positively to the college that I will be attending, by my character which will bring good reputation to the college. I am humble, respectful, and have good morale which I learn from my christian family. I am very social and I get along well with people. I understand that hard work is the key to success in anything I do. I lead my life by my grandfather's saying " As you make your bed so you lie on it" 
And with all these qualities I believe that I am an excellent choice for your college.
