Personal Statement
My name is Jeremiah Nicholson and I am a senior at Santa Barbara High School. I have started at free safety on varsity since my sophomore year. I received all-league honorable mention as a sophomore and all-league first team as a junior. I am currently playing quarterback, receiver, safety, as well as punter. My desire is to use my passion of football to pursue an academic and athletic career in college. What separates me from other recruits is my football IQ and my versatility on the field being able to play multiple positions on offense, defense, and special teams. I come from a football family, my dad is a coach and I grew up on the sidelines. Much of my knowledge about the x's and o's of football has come from him and hours of film. I am looking for a University that will help me attain my goals on the field as well as academically. My passion on the field is Quarterback but I am open to playing Safety or Receiver as well. I am looking forward to the process ahead of me.
