Personal Statement
If I were to describe myself as a person I would say I am a leader. I put my team mates before myself and make sure I can influence them do their best. That never say die attitude makes me a good candidate for any college football team. Football has always been my life. It has ever since I was 10 years old begging my mother to play. When I turned 11, my mother said i had to cut down to 135 to make the weight to play Pop Warner Football for the Campbell Bears (a weight restricted league). When I weighed myself the next day I was 158 pounds. Over the next 9 months i dropped to 128 and made weight to play football. This only shows part of my dedication of striving for my goals. I play with emotions and play with all heart. I play each down like it is my last. I give an 100% effort even if we are blowing our opponents out, or getting blown out. In the classroom is where honestly I need to improve. I want to step it up with my grades and get at least a 3.5 average and develop better study habits. I believe if I try as hard as I do in sports and transfer that into the classroom, I will be on track to a 4 year college and most importantly college readiness.
