Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Steven Barker and I am a 6'3" 195lb tight end. I am looking for a college where I can become successful in both athletics and academics. I aspire to study accounting and eventually earn my MBA, I will enter college having earned my 60 college units and my AA degree while in high school. I demand out of myself character that is above reproach on and off the field. A coach can expect me to be at every practice and every workout giving it my all on every rep. I take care of the classroom first and foremost so that I maintain the opportunity to do what I love and that is to play football. I am a committed Christian and cannot wait to see what God has in store for me as a student athlete.
