Patrick Meyers '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Patrick Meyers and I am a 6'3 junior at St. Bonaventure High School in Ventura California. Every coach I have ever had has said the same thing, that I am very coachable. I am also very determined and a persistent hard worker. But aside from my athletic achievements, I am a good 3.5 GPA student and a studying pianist for twelve years. My fellow teammates and coaches know me for having the best hands on the football team. I have many attributes that can be offered to a team such as consistency, optimism, and great sportsmanship. I always pick up my teammates and am not one to put them down for poor performance. I would like to attend a collage in the west coast, southwest, or midwest, but am not limited by geography. Schools that I am interested in are schools where I can actually get playing time while getting the type of education that I want. I would be at a D2 or D3 school and actually play rather than sit on the bench at a D1 school. My number one athletic goal for any team is to do whatever I can to the best of my ability to help my team reach victory. I am not the type of person to spell the word team with the letter "i".
