Personal Statement

Currently I attend Brighton High School in Brighton, Colorado. I am a responsible person and very honest. I am committed and a very coachable student-athlete and always am looking to learn more. I use sports not only to open doors but to make myself a better person in life. In college, I hope to study criminal justice and attend a four year university. I would love to continue my athletic career in the next level after high school.

My Football career began when i was 7 years old, and joined little league. I started by playing Guard, Center, and Tackle on the O-Line. When i was in the 8th grade my coach moved me to tight end, and it was a great fit because of my size, good hands, and my blocking ability. My goal is to earn a scholarship and play football. I am open to any geographical area and college opportunity. I have also played competitive Basketball, Track & Field, and Wrestling. Basketball has helped me tremendously with my footwork, hand-eye coordination, and learning how to be mentally tough athlete. I carry a 3.4 GPA, and have taken honors and AP classes since my freshman year. I am always looking to improve, year round. I realize it takes constant work and self desire to improve my speed, footwork, and accuracy. I pride myself in always looking to get better at everything i do in life. One of my biggest attainments as an athlete is playing as a teammate. I constantly try to be a positive role model and leader to those around me. I own up to my mistakes and learn and improve from them. In the end I will do what every is necessary for the team; I will always put others before myself.
