Personal Statement

I have loved football since the first time I put my pads on in sixth grade.  Ever since then my love for the sport has only grown.  I have wanted to play college football for a really long time now, and I have been working every day to get ready for that next level.  I love the energy of the games and especially scoring touchdowns.  I love the satisfaction of knowing that my blood, sweat, and tears finally paid off after that win on game day.  There is no greater feeling.

I am not only a just a football player, I love to go on mission trips and help out people less fortunate then myself, last summer I had an amazing experience in the slums of Mexico building houses for families who have never even had a solid or lever floor before in their lives.  This summer I am going on a mission trip half way around the world to Cambodia.  I am really excited for this trip, there I will be helping professional doctors teach the locals new techniques on surgery from America as well as helping them perform the surgeries themselves.

I love helping others, and my hard work from that carries onto the football field.  I love to grow physically and mentally on and off the field, I have never backed down from a challenge, instead I use it to make myself stronger for future challenges.  I love leading, and setting good examples, I am really hoping to be a team captain on the football team next year.

As well as working hard at football, I also do my absolute best at school to maintain a good GPA.  I really enjoy music and playing instruments.  I want to find the college that best fits me and I am sure that I will.

  • Hi, My name is Eric Bach, Sports Performance Coach at Steadman Hawkins Sports Performance in Denver, Colorado. I work with athletes of all ages and am fortunate enough to work with and around many NFL, MLB, and Olympic level athletes. Few are as impressive physically as Weston, especially at a young age. As a high-school junior wide-reciever Weston is 6'3" 195 pounds and already boasts the physique of an upper class collegiate player. He is fast, powerful, and explosive with a nearly 300lb hang clean and box jump approaching 50 inches. I highly recommend Wes as he's an exceptional athlete with an extraordinary ceiling. His physical and mental maturity is well beyond his age and I know he has the make-up of a potential star player at the next level. I highly recommend Weston for the March 29th Rivals combine in Atlanta, GA as further recommendation from coach Gabriel. And Weston's video link: http://www.hudl.com/athlete/o/1174487/highlights/118527385 Weston's physical tools and size are unparalleled top notch high-school athletes we work with (and that includes multiple who have signed LOI's at the major D1 level). If given the chance to shine at your camps he will blow you away. Thanks, Eric Bach

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
