Personal Statement

My name is Dante Sparaco and I am a Student Athlete. I live in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. I have learned very quickly that it takes more than just skill on the field or court to be a great athlete. You have to have great work ethic, unbelievable toughness, respect for the game, for yourself, for your teammates and coaches, and you have to be willing to put forth that same effort in the classroom. The name student- athlete is self-explanatory. Student comes before athlete. I have recognized that form a young age and have done my best to keep my grades not only average, but extraordinary. I have never received a grade lower than an A- on a report card and I am very proud of that. I am an Honors student and my current GPA is 3.85. I know that academic performance is the first thing that most coaches look at. I know that I can have all the skill in the world and still not be a productive member of my team if I am not a great student first.

I play Quarterback and Outside Linebacker. I am starting for my Varsity team this year. You can find my latest highlights in the Video section

Just like many young athletes, my dream is to play College Football. I know that I have the potential and the work ethic, but I would like football to do more for me that just make my dream come true. I want to get a quality education and I would like to use my athletic ability and my academic success to help me get there. The reason I would like a quality education is that it is something that no one can ever take away from me. If I were ever to get injured and could never play another down of football, I would still have the education that will allow me to support myself and my family.

Now you know a little bit about me as an athlete, student, and person. Thank you for your time and consideration

Two of the biggest events in sports, the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament “March Madness” and the Little League World Series, collide and the result is FBU’s National Championship. 64 Teams from all over the United States and Canada representing their State/Province battling in a single elimination tournament to see who is the National Champion. 3 divisions, 8th grade, 7th grade and we are adding 6th grade this year to participate in the first two rounds. There will be over 6,000 athletes representing thousands of youth leagues participating in the Championship. Playing on a National Stage on “The Road to The Dome” (finals played in San Antonio’s Alamodome the weekend of the US Army All-American Bowl) to become the real National Champion. AAG believes that the nation’s top football athletes have the right to compete against other top talent of the same caliber! Most top football athletes never get tested on a consistent basis. AAG built the U.S. Army All-American Bowl to allow the nation’s top high school football players to compete against one another. AAG created Football University’s 40 State National Championship and Regional Championship to allow the nation’s top 8th graders and top 7th graders the same opportunity! These opportunities prepare top athletes for the rest of their football careers and lives.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
