Having 14 years of football experience under my belt, I can't say I have had more fun anywhere else besides the football field. While having fun playing football, I reaped irreplaceable experiences, but learned even more valuable lessons. My 7th grade season was when I really learned the significance of leadership and teamwork and the essential need for them in a brotherhood. I took it upon myself to assist any teammates that lacked experience and/or did not play their position effectively. My 7th grade season really stuck out to me and will be one of the highlights of my football career. Once I truly learned the value of these skills, I had a whole new outlook on football and how it is a way of life.
I am seeking a program that will benefit me not only as an elite athlete, but also academically. The student side of the student-athlete means just as much, if not a little more to me as the athlete side. I strongly believe that I have the athletic skills and talent to compete for any collegiate team, but I also have complete confidence in my work-ethic, leadership, and dedication to make an immediate impact on your program and school. I am a three-sport athlete and six-time captain, so I understand what it takes to be an effective leader and who has a positive impact on one’s team.
