Personal Statement
I've been playing tackle football since I was 5 years old and really hate to lose. I've been on championship teams and teams that didn't even make the playoffs. I want to win. I love going to battle with my teammates - they are my best friends and I would do anything for them. I've been coached by former college & NFL players and they have all molded me into the player that I am today. My goals over the next 2 years in high school? (1) I want to be part of the #1 defense in Colorado and win a state championship; (2) I want to keep straight A's and excel in the classroom; (3) I want to set all new weightlifting records at J.K. Mullen High School; and (4) I want to be considered 5 things on the field - a leader, smart, violent, unblockable & relentless. There is no better feeling than making the right read, beating a guard, sacking a QB and forcing a fumble. I am working everyday in the classroom, in the gym, with my speed coach and on the field to be the #1 insider linebacker in Colorado over the next 2 years. I have no intention of hanging up my cleats after my senior season in high school. I love this game. I love the grind. I love the battle in the trenches. I love punching guards in the mouth. No one can attack an "A" gap like I can. I will do whatever it takes to contribute to my college team at the next level.
