Alexander Cook '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football since I was 9 years old. I have had always had a dream about going to the collegiate level and even possibly playing in the NFL. I have played multiple sports throughout my youth career such as baseball (3 years) and wrestling(1 year). Along with football, I am currently throwing shot put and discus for my track team. I know playing at the collegiate level is a once in a lifetime opportunity and that opportunity could change my life.  

I’m always working and finding new ways to improve myself in my skill set and as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am a team leader encouraging my teammates and leading by example. I am a very coachable player and I strive to be one of the hardest working recruits you’ll come around.

In the classroom, I am one of the hardest workers and I maintain a high GPA. I volunteer with my team, teach at youth camps and I volunteer around my community.

I want to attend a college where I can not only push and challenge myself on the football field, but also in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all the people around me. I not only want this for myself but I want to make my parents prouder because they’ve pushed me to always be the best person and player I can be, they are my biggest fans!
