Emilio Duran '22 Recruiting Profile

  To whom this may reach, I am Emilio Duran from Denver, CO born and raised and I attend Columbine High school in Littleton, Co. Growing up I've always enjoyed playing sports and seeing how its helped me develop a better person for myself and others around me. In life I've learned to understand the consequences and sacrifices one must do in order to make a better living for themselves or to succeed in life. Goals I have in my life are to graduate high school with honor roll valid grades, excel in high school sports well enough to receive a scholarship, and to graduate college to become somebody instead of nobody. I've always aspired to play football at the college level and to make it there because I've seen many members of my family either never finished school or they found other things.  Personally, I think I am very different from the average athlete on and off the field as I am very willing to work hard for what I want even if it means sacrificing things to get a better outcome. Off the field I've been told I am a leader through example as I do not say much, but my actions and body language tell those around me of who I am.  Academically, I try my best to keep my grades either a B or higher, nothing less and so far I've managed to do that. I do take honors classes at my school to challenge myself and plan on doing it for the next 2 years of high school.
