Personal Statement
Growing up without a mother providing much for me wasn't always the worst thing. While often times it did get to me, other times it helped me out a lot. Channeling my anger from home to the field has always been the way I dealt with the things that I went through. At the perfect age, I was able to realize that hard work and dedication are the only two ways I will be able to make it. As the youngest player in my class, I have always been in competition with the oldest in my class, and even the oldest in higher classes. Not seeing the field much my junior year gave me the hunger I have now to never be denied the chance to play. I am willing to do whatever, whether it is in the classroom or extra time on the field, to play football at the next level. In the classroom I carry a strong 3.4 GPA, and work harder and harder every semester to get it as high as I can. I can guarantee that my best has yet to come and being a young 16 year old and a late grower, I still have much growing to do. Thank you for considering me as a member to your football family.
