Personal Statement
My name is Peter Fitzgerald and I will be a 2018 graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall. My goal for college is to be great at academics and football. I once heard a player say "I'm already good, now I have to be great" and that really stuck with me. I want to be the best that I can and don't feel that any school is out of reach if I work hard. I have always been a football, basketball and baseball player, but this year took baseball off to focus on lifting and getting faster for football. I was a starting QB and DE at St. Peter Marian HS. I decided to transfer to Choate because of both academics and football. Throughout my football career I have played many positions because I am athletic, understand the game in any position, and am a humble leader. The last two years I have focused completely on the linebacker position. I am captain of my team this year, am a prefect in my dorm and am on the deans list.
