I love that every game has a constant, competitive and strategic angle that can be tweaked in an attempt to obtain perfection and win. A team needs to work together and be able to anticipate what another player is planning to do in a split fraction of a moment.
In recently becoming starting Quarterback for Varsity, I have made mid play audibles at the line, having noticed the defense shifting toward the side in attempt to stop our play. My quick thinking has changed the outcome, leading to points on the board.
I am a multiple threat player by playing many positions up to the coaches’ standards. For example, I am a left footed kicker but throw with my right hand. Wide receiver, kicker, field goal kicker and safety are positions that I have played this season in JV and Varsity.
As a Norwalk High School Junior, I am actively involved in Air Force ROTC and currently one of the top five commanding officers, out of 110 cadets. In the offseason, I am on the wrestling team and last winter, took gold in a tournament for my weight class. My goal is to ultimately be that person that makes the difference that counts, whether it be serving our country as a Navy S.E.A.L, in sports or in my personal life.
