My collegiate goals as an athlete are being able to continue playing football for as long as I can without compromising my education. That is what I think separates me from other student-athletes. My dedication extends much further than the football field and weight room. This is seen in the classes I take because I am always finding new ways to challenge myself to make myself a better learner. On the field, I also carry this same mentality that I am always looking for new ways to challenge and better myself. During a game, I never shy away from a hit, and in the weight room, I am always willing to do the extra set. I am constantly striving to be perfect in all three phases: the classroom, the weight room, and the football field. Some people close to me tell me that I push myself too hard sometimes, but I do not think they understand. This is what I have been doing since the second grade, and now it's all I know how to do. It's the lifestyle which I choose to live.
