Hi, my name is Jake Whitenight, football has been a major part of my life since I was 8 years old. I am an extremely hard worker who learns very quickly. I have a lot of respect for my coaches and have never had a problem with my teammates on or off the field. Through my high school career I have learned to play every position on the O - line including a blocking tight end. I can adapt to anything a coach needs and pretty quickly. I learn at a very fast rate I can pretty much handle anything you give me. Football is my main passion so I don't play any other sports at a high school level however my extremely competitive nature allows me to succeed at whatever I put my mind to. Academically I am enrolled in a program at our local state college where I attend college courses full time. I am currently on track to graduate high school with my AA. Technically I do not attend BRHS but I am still very much a part of the school, and while balancing college courses, football, and my weekly workouts at Athletic Edge sports is challenging I have never once lost my passion for football.

- ActivitiesI have won several awards for academic accomplishments. As well as awards at the state and national level In the technology student association. Just last year I placed third in the nation for an event called animatronics where my team and I created a robotic display that educated young students about space. The year before that I competed in the Vex world competition. It was a robotic engineering competition where we created a robot that preformed tasks autonomously and by remote control. We even preformed with teams from japan!
