Ryan Neuzil '16 Recruiting Profile

I love this game! I have been blessed with the size, intelligence and common sense that helps in every aspect of this game. Football is a huge part of who I am and I work on the field as diligently as I do in the classroom. I have acquired so many life lessons through football. Finishing my freshman Varsity year with one win and nine losses has taught me patience. Many hours in the weight room and on the field practicing has taught me hard work. Understanding that if one guy on the line takes just one play off the outcome will be different; has taught me teamwork. So in just two short years, with the patience, hard work and teamwork we finished the regular season undefeated. We broke nearly every school record there. I had the most receptions by a Tight End and the most yards per catch 18.7. Even though we lost in the regional finals playoff game, we had transformed as a team. As sore and tired as I was the next morning, I reported to basketball practice. My varsity basketball coach had patiently been waiting for football to conclude and I committed to being a full member of the basketball team as soon as football was over. By balancing two varsity sports as well as academics, I have learned how to prioritize. I take my academic commitment very seriously and currently hold a 3.6 GPA. I am ready to move to the next level and I am excited to see what else football, the game that I love, can teach me.
