Brandon Charles '14 Recruiting Profile

I love playing football and I bring a strong work ethic to the game and play my hardest every down. I am always trying to encourage others by inspiring them to do their best either by making plays myself or getting my teammates pumped up. I have always been inspired by football players like Ray Lewis and Reggie White as I am a young Christian myself and want to lead others the same way that these players have. Ray Lewis says that hard work beats talent.

I play football at North Marion High School and will be entering my third year as varsity player and I will be leading the team. I have played out of position since I have started, but I play where the TEAM needs me and I am glad to do so. In spite of being undersized at the D-end position I led the D-line in tackles and I led the team in sacks for the 2012-2013 season. I and my coaches consider me as an athlete that can play several positions.

My teachers have also awarded me the school character award twice. I attribute all of these accomplishments to hard work. I am interested in Film Studies and advocate change for campaigns like Anti-Bullying. I want to inspire others through athletics, media or both. I want to play at any division level D-1through D-3.
