Personal Statement
My name is Dakota Williams. I am a seventeen year old high school student at Duval Charter High School at Baymeadows in Jacksonville, Florida. Upon my graduation in 2016, I would like to start my future by going to college and earning a degree in either Sports Broadcasting or Sports Medicine. There are several schools I would like to go to, my hope is to find one that fits me well both academically and as an athlete. My goal is to one day win a National Championship and to ultimately have a career in the NFL. For the past two years I have played both offensive line and defensive line. This year I am slotted to play full back and tight end. Im trying to expand my knowledge of the game from both sides of the ball to make myself an asset to the team. During the off season, I play basketball and also keep up with my conditioning and weightlifting regiment, as required by our coach. I also go to any available football camp, extra training or combines that I can be apart of.I go to Christ Church and teach children the word of God every Sunday. I take every available opportunity to better myself and those around me. I believe that not only can I be a great player to the team but also be a motivating and uplifting teammate, like I do with my kids in Sunday school. I take a great sense of pride in being willing to work harder to be a better person on and off the field. It is my hope that you would consider me to be apart of your football program.
