Dear Coaches,
Currently, I am a senior at Lyman High School. I have been in the Aerospace Engineering Program since Freshman year. This has allowed me to dual enroll in college courses at Seminole State College. The courses I have taken throughout my high school career have led me to look for a college with Aerospace, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering. I am interested in taking business courses (possible business minor). My grade point average is 3.9 and my ACT score is 27 and my SAT is 1730. Additionally, I am the Vice President of National Technical Honor Society, selected for National Honor Society and I am the senior Senator of my class. This summer I completed an internship with the City of Orlando - Civil Engineering (Streets and Storm Water Department).
I have been the place kicker for the last couple of years. Prior to that I was the punter and kicker for the team. My varsity experience began when I was a sophomore. I realize that a game may ride on my field goal or my onside kick but I believe in myself and know that I am an valuable part of the team. It is also important to encourage and support my teammates as well.
Sports are a great way to earn a college degree, but for me I look at playing on a college team as a privilege. When much is given, much is expected. I will be the best player and student that I can be if given the opportunity.
Sincerely,
Anthony Perrone
