Benjamin Drane '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'7" cornerback/athlete from Altamonte Springs, Florida. I am a versatile and passionate athlete and have also played on the offense as a running back and slot receiver and special teams (kicker and returner). I was a starting cornerback at Orangewood Christian School my sophomore year and starting slot receiver my junior year. Besides my athletic sills, I believe my intangible qualities are equally important. My coaches have told me that I am very coachable, handle criticism well and am driven to succeed. I am an extremely hard worker.My goal is to attend a college with a good academic reputation and be able to contribute to their athletic program. Academics and athletics are important to me because I believe they both will prepare me for life after college. Ideally, I would like to attend a college that supports the student athlete academic responsibilities as much as athletic accomplishments. Playing football at the collegiate level has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. I am willing to sacrifice and work hard to achieve this goal. I am open to playing Divison I, IAA, II, III and NAIA schools.
