Chris Ruiz '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a dependable and highly motivated student who wants to study Civil Engineering.  I can play both Guard and Tackle positions on the offensive line as well as Defensive Tackle.  I was a starter my senior year at both Guard and Tackle positions playing in 9 of 10 games missing only one due to injury.  I am very versatile in that I also played Defensive Tackle my junior year as well as the offensive line am tough competitor who has often played hurt the entire game and not missed any practices.  I was selected as a High School All Star and played in the Miami-Dade and Broward County Public vs. Private school All-Star game starting on the offensive line.  Strong ability to work well in team environment under complex circumstances, very competitive and very driven.  I have been able to maintain good academic standing with a good GPA, SAT and ACT Scores, taken 5 AP courses. I am very dedicated to sustaining and improving my overall athletic and academic abilities.  I have worked very well under the direction of the gifted coaching staff and my time on the field has yielded many life lessons. Very flexible and take feedback from my mentors.
