Personal Statement
During the 2013 season, I led all sophomores in the state of Florida in receiving yards (798), receiving touchdowns (11), and receptions (52). As a result, I earned All-Area honorable mention. This past year, our offense changed dramatically. With the departure of a quarterback who threw for 3,000 yards the year before, we turned to our rushing attack. Shifting or motioning to and from the backfield almost every play, I accumulated 875 rushing yards at 9.3 yards/carry to go with 11 touchdowns. That, along with 273 more receiving yards and 3 touchdowns, helped me earn First Team Athlete for my county as well as Honorable Mention Class 3a.
Along with athletics, my other major pursuit is in the classroom. My parents have always pushed me as hard in school as they have in athletics. Now that it is my junior year, I have started looking at potential schools. The last three generations of my family, along with an uncle, have all played college football, and it has always been my dream to continue that trend by pairing football with the highest level of education.
