2015 Spring Highl...Personal Statement
My name is Steve Decius and I am currently a senior at Forest High School in Ocala, Florida. I am 5 foot 9, 160 pounds. I start at free safety but my coaches use me wherever i am needed like corner back, slot receiver and running back. Forest is a 6A school this year and went 7-3 falling one game short of the playoffs this season, it was the first time we had a chance in the playoffs since 2008. This season I had 20 solo tackles, 53 total tackles, 2 interceptions, one of those was a 96 yard pick6, 1 fumble recovery, and averaged 5 tackles per game. I've been playing football since I was 5 and I love everything about football. I have a great desire to continue to improve my game, I'm a hard worker and far from a quitter. My goal is to finish high school, play football in college and gain a degree that will help me with my future. I take my education very seriously, and make the best out of any situation. I'm fun to be around, i have a great positive attitude and just love the game of football. I hope to play in the NFL one day, I know it's hard but i'm willing to work for it and put my all into whatever I do. Feel free to contact me about any information.

- It was a great experience. I loved all the drills i did and because of a really bad jammed finger i wasn't able to catch many passes in one on ones, but it was a lot of fun.
