I have played football my entire life and it has always been my dream to play at the college level. Although, as of right now I am one of the taller and bigger kids on my team, I have not always been this way. When I was younger, I was usually one of the smaller kids on the team. I believe this is a big factor in my work ethic; I have never thought there was someone too big or too strong for me to beat.
I am 6'5" tall, weigh 240 lbs, and run around a 4.9. I am athletic and aggressive. As a sophmore, I was a back up on a very talented varsity team that got to the state championship. Although this was an amazing experience, I would have to say that my best achievement as an athlete would be during this past year when I was the starting Varsity left tackle and helped my team become metro and district champions, along with making the playoffs. This year we are ranked in the top 25 teams by USA Today and are currently 5-0. As far as what I can offer the team, I am a very hard worker that plays wherever the team needs me to play, regardless of my personal preferences.I am versatile and can play multiple positions.
I want to go to a larger college, basically because of the fact that right now I go to a large high school and I love the atmosphere. As of right now, my primary athletic goal is to help my team win the state championship this year, and I plan on doing as much as possible to make that happen. After high school, I hope to play football at any college where I can make a difference.
