Peter Duffy '17 Recruiting Profile

      My name is Peter Duffy. I play football for Riverview high school, during my three years playing football for Riverview I have had the most experience at playing guard, and tackle. what makes me different compared to other athletes is faith. I believe that if the coach shows his faith in the player, then the player can have faith towards him and the decisions he makes to make a successful team. With out faith in coaches I believe that the player wont trust the decisions made by the coach and will start to question the coaches ability to coach. Another thing that makes me different from others is my understanding of amateurism. i understand that every student-athlete is classified as an amateur. This mean that the student-athlete can not obtain a salary for participating in athletics and can not make contracts, or play with professional teams.

      Regarding academics I have obtained a G.P.A. of 3.77 on a 4.0 scale and have not yet taken the SAT'S, but plan to do so in February of 2016. I am an A,B student and maintain good relationships with teachers and classmates.
