Personal Statement
My collegiate goals are not just to play at the collegiate level but to just go to college in general. I want to become something positive so i can look back when the years go by and say "I Made It' . Raised by a single mother of four I realized that I could not let my mom down by staying in the slums and selling drugs and saying I have money and I do not need college. If there was any positive way out it was for me to go to college and get an education to further myself in this society. I can't say that I'm different from other recruits because they may have the same situation or even worse then mine. One thing that I can assure is that I am a hard worker that takes no days off in the weight room , the field, and most importantly in the classroom. I am a student athlete with an impeccable character that pushes others to succeed. I do not take failure for an answer because in life when things get hard do you let them overwhelm you or do you think of ways to lighten the burden? I am a gifted athlete, there is no way around I have the most steals with 176 in a season for basketball, i can play any position on the football field because of my IQ and strength and abilities, and I pitch the fastest in my school and I don't even play baseball. My academics are very high. I look at it this way if you can't solve math problems or reading questions how can you distinguish a cover 2 from cover 4? how do I know to stack back on a defensive back when they are in a zone or man. GRADES ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE TO ME!!
