Personal Statement
I am a highly motivated athlete who desires to play college football. I am Connor Rafferty, a rising twelth grade student at Robinson High School in Tampa, Florida. I am 6'3" and 275 lbs. As a child I always wanted to play football. By age 10 I was too big to play Pop Warner with my age group so I chose to play baseball until I could, one day, play at the high school level. While playing baseball, I worked out with a strength and conditioning coach to prepare for high school football and beyond. As I finish my junior year as an awared winning offensive tackle, I am pursuing a college where I can play football while earning a degree in the engeening field. I am strong academically with an unweighted GPA of 3.5 and a member of the National Honor Society. I am a team player and organized "Breakfast with the O Line" with my teammates. I would be an asset to any school where I can play at my utmost ability. I would be interested in any information concerning financial aid. Any opportunity offered would be seriously considered.
