Personal Statement
My name is Jesse Braddock and for me, football is all about choices. If I could do one thing, pretty much anything, or play football, football wins out every time. Each day practice, weight-training and studying the game comes first. The relationships I've built with my teammates are bonds that I believe are unbreakable and I am thankful for each and every guy who has hit the field with me. My coach, Mike DePue,who is retiring after 30 years of coaching, won Florida state's Coach of the Year for 2012 and I feel lucky and honored to be a part of his football team and our last two winning seasons. This year my team, Robinson High School, won the regional 5A title and were one game from playing in the state championship. This season I learned so much about life through football. I learned how to work together, stay focused on the game, practice until it feels like I'm going to drop, never give up despite being hurt, tired or sick, and most of all, how to come together and stay strong after a heartbreaking loss. I am currently a Junior in high school and working hard at honing my skills both on and off the field. I am looking for a school that will challenge me academically and physically and I welcome any information about your school. Thank you for viewing my profile.
