Personal Statement
My dreams are to go to a prestigious university and excel in academics along with sports. I am a one year starter at Palm Beach Central High School in football and baseball. In football, I play Quarterback as well as Safety due to the aggression I have to make solid contact with my opponents. In baseball, I play outfield and I am very versatile around the bases and have extra power when I am up to bat. Being the Quarterback I feel the need to lead my team, which I strongly take pride in, and take on the role of being the field general at all costs. This past year, we ran a spread-like offense where we liked to attack the linebackers and hit the slots around the middle often. Although performing on the field is a must, excelling in the classroom is a necessity. First semester of Junior year I took more advanced classes than my previous years being that Freshman and Sophomore year I had a 4.0 and a 4.3 with 2 or 3 honors classes, this year taking 5 honors classes I came around to having a 3.9 where I was ranked 78 out of over 700 kids in my class. Sophomore year, I was drafted to become apart of the National Honors Society where I felt very humbled and blessed. Some of the traits I display are my intelligence on and off the field, ability to lead, and the work ethic I have and put into my everyday routine. My everyday routine consists of a 5 am wake up call going to the gym for an hour and a half, working out during my Team Sports Weight training, baseball practice/game, then ending off the day with speed and explosiveness training/enhancement. After graduating high school I aspire to attend a Division 1 university where it would give me a great opportunity on the football field and a great opportunity to go onto a professional career.
