Personal Statement
Some have called me an underdog because I come from a small football program in a small town overshadowed by the powerhouses in Tampa. I feel that this has contributed to who I am and who I will always be on and off the field. I play one way, with spirit and fire. My goal is to play college football in the Southeast. I am no stranger to having to prove myself and I am looking forward to doing that my freshman year. I will make an impact. I am 5"11 and weigh 195 pounds. I have been blessed with athletic ability. My vertical is 38 inches, broad jump 10'2", I run a sub 4.5/40yd and I bench 185 lbs for 23 reps. However, I realize that my success in football has and will continue to come from my ability to fit into a team and contribute gracefully. My goal scholastically is to earn a 4 year degree in a field of study I am passionate about. I am fully aware that the next 4 years will define the next 40. I am fortunate to have the guidance of my mother and father who have encouraged me to keep my options open and focus on liberal arts. I expect that Health/Fitness and English will continue to be my key areas of study. I look forward to what the future holds. I will continue to run hard.
