Personal Statement
I started playing team sports at the YMCA when I was three, so I've always been competitive. At seven, I was introduced to ice hockey and spent the next eight years playing year-round. Through my ice hockey experience, I learned the importance of playing as a team and experienced the fulfillment of hours of hard work paying off, but most importantly, I developed a work ethic, thanks to my favorite coach, that I use beyond the rink: always give my personal best. In football practice and games, in the classroom, and at home, I always strive to do my best and push myself to do better than the time before. I also thrive in intense physical situations and love the grind of football...there's nothing like it!
I’m in the Advanced Engineering Applications Magnet Program at Apopka High School (Apopka, FL), and I'm interested in pursuing an engineering career. My goal is to go to a college with a strong engineering program. I would be honored to also represent that school on the football field!
