Quinn Ferrino '18 Recruiting Profile

I'll never forget it, I was a freshman and it was the first day of tryouts for the varsity football team at my high school.  It was also my very first day of playing organized tackle football, ever.  Sure, I played flag football, but never tackle.  I was the shortest, and the skinniest, kid on the field.  No one thought I'd make it past the first day, until I came back the next day, and the next, and here I am today, four years later, as a starting safety for the team. 

I've overcome many obstacles to get where I am today, but it hasn't been without the training, conditioning, and encouragement from my coaches over the years, my fellow teammates, and the support of my family.  I've learned so much about this sport in such a short time, and I know I have a lot more to learn, and I'm looking forward to the challenge.  My sophomore year was amazing because it was the first time in our school's history of winning the division championship for football.  I'm so proud to have been a part of that.  We're in transition this year, but I go out on the field and give it all I have with every play.  I won't quit, I won't back down, size doesn't matter, I'm going all in.  I'm looking for a school that will start my next chapter in life, as I continue to learn and grow, both in academics as well as athletics.  I want to be part of YOUR team!
