Personal Statement
Football has been my passion since I was very young. After playing on my first team at the age of six, I have constantly pursued the sport. I began training with a personal quarterback coach when I was nine years old, and still work with my coach, Ken Mastrole in Ft. Lauderdale FL.
I was the starting quarterback of the Calvary Christian Academy Middle School team for three years, and was the starting quarterback for the JV team in 2015 and started for Varsity as a sophomore in 2016 and 2017. Ive always had a winning season and led my middle school and JV teams to league titles, and my high school team to the playoffs last year. I'm working hard every day to become a better athlete. I currently run a 4.62 40 and a 4.12 shuttle. I make decisions quickly and promise my coaches that I will outwork everyone, follow the direction of my coaches, and lead by example.
It has been my dream to play college football at the highest level that I can, and I pursue that dream with all I have. I am open to playing at any level, and am convinced that I would be a great contribution to any team.
Raised in a Christian home, my morality, faith, character and behavior reflect the teachings of the Bible. I try to live up to the type of character that I see in Jesus. That makes me want to be a leader, in a fair and balanced manner, and pursue a high calling.
Academically I strive to achieve also. I currently have a 4.1 weighted GPA. I believe that strong academics reflect my character to achieve.
I would be an outstanding recruit for your football team coach, because Ive been privileged to gain experience in my craft of becoming a quarterback, being a leader on and off the field, and representing God and my family with a high degree of integrity.
