Personal Statement
Greeting all coaches,
Hi my name is Dennis Morgan and I am currently at the end of my junior year of High School. I play football and my position is fullback, defensive tackle, and an athlete. Physically I am very strong, I can bench press 300, squat 515, and power clean 235. Mentally I am tough, because when I was a young boy I had to grow up very fast due to the fact that my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer and therefore he did not really remember me. He passed away when I was only eleven years old. My older sister and I had to take care of him when my mom would have to work the night shift at the hospital. Watching her work nights coming home in the mornings tired inspired me to work harder so that my family could have a better life. That is when I realized that you have to work hard for what you want and I will always work hard in school and sports. With that being said, I have become a hard worker with a great work ethic. In school I am an A-B student who pushes themselves to do better. I am willing to go see my teachers before and after school because school doesn't always come easy to me but that won't stop me from achieving my goals.I have raised my grade considerably and especially in my math and science classes. My favorite subjects in school are science and math. When I am older I want to become a vet or play in the NFL. Going to college would help these two dreams I have to become a realty.
