Going to college and playing football is a dream I've had for as long as I can remember. I have been playing football since I was 5 years old, and started kicking on my Mighty Mite Pop Warner Team that went all the way to Nationals at Disney World and won! I love every part of football, and have played many positions over the years, like quarterback, receiver, cornerback, tiger back, and kicker. Something I believe sets me apart is my knowledge of all aspects of the game, and my willingness to always learn something new. Each time I have been given a new position to play I take the time to study the position and watch hours of video of others play the position to learn what to do and what not to do.
I have a very intense mindset when it comes to sports, and that pushes me to be the best and not accept anything less. I have a family that also supports me, and helps to push me to be better everyday. In school, I do fairly well, maintaining a GPA of 3.4 or higher. I am also in student government, National Honor Society, and the Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy. The last 2 years I have also been chosen to be a Principal Assistant to our elementary Principal.
My character is one that is sometimes complicated for people to understand. I tend to have a tough exterior, but I am actually a loyal, caring, and generous person. I don't like to see people who have disabilities picked on or left out. I have a brother with Austism, and while there are many hard days, he brings me and my family so much joy. He has taught me to find joy in the simple things in life.
I believe I would be an asset to anytime, and I am willing to work hard and prove that.
